Eight years ago today, I woke up in Valencia, Spain (we were visiting my son who was spending a year studying abroad from NAU, Northern Arizona University) and he and I walked to a small restaurant to get coffee. Saw a newspaper with the headline that Saddam had been captured in a spider hole on a farm in the town he was from. Famous picture of him having his teeth examined, which it turns out is an insult to people in the region (having your teeth examined in public) and the U.S. did it on purpose, if memory serves me correct, and it increasingly does not.Rained most of the night. Still raining. Got up this morning to take a second stab at Clint as a butte. Whipped this out before I came into work.
"Clint Still Rocks." One concept too far?
