Bat Dog, Mae West And Wild Woman Glances

 February 2, 2021

Another batch of BtKIII special edition hardbounds went out the door today. Meanwhile, got this response from one of the recipients of the first batch:

BBB: Well I got the coolest book ever in the mail today! What a nice job they did for you (embossed covers no less!!). Just a beauty. It is quite a collector's item. Thanks again for the dedication.
You should have a contest to see who can pick out the differences in Billy 3 from its predecessors. A signed hardback could be the prize.

Not sure anyone could really do that. Prove me wrong and I've got a hardbound with your name on it.

He hangs around upside down. It's Bat Dog

Debating what says "wild" when it comes to a cover for Wild Women of The Wild West? One image most assuredly would be a female bronc rider.

"Wild Woman On The Jump"

Study #2

Or, does a wild look suffice?

Daily Whip Out: "Wild Women Glances"

It certainly worked for an infamous female in Hollywood.

"Is that a pistol in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me."

—Mae West, February 1936, at the Los Angeles railway station on her return from Chicago, when a LA policeman was assigned to escort her home
