Sepia Secrets, Amber Glow & A Love That Didn't Work Out Right

   There's many things I love about old photographs, but there's one thing I am absolutely obsessed with.

   Faded photographs from the nineteenth century give off such a wonderful glow and they hide secrets. It seems almost magical. And the more faded the photograph, the more I am intrigued. We even have a name for this when we are designing True West covers. We call it "amber glow," as in, I think that image needs a touch of Amber Glow.

   In fact, I keep a clip file of faded sepia images, like this:
