The week of wonky weather finally broke and yesterday we had a sunny and beautiful day at the Tucson Book Festival on the mall of the University of Arizona. Sold some books, chatted up the locals and visited with an old employee.
Abby Pearson who worked at True West
back in the day.
Our tireless editor, Stuart Rosebrook, put the hard sell on anyone who got within fifteen feet of our tent.
Stuart also chaired a discussion on Women of the West to a packed auditorium, which featured Jana Bommersbach, Chris Enss, Wynne Brown and myself. We had some fun.
"You can't judge a book by its cover, but you can judge a cover by not buying the book."
