A fellow author requested an image of Bloody Bill I painted last year and he wondered if I still had it.

Yes, that is Bloody Bill, lower right, stacked against my library wall near the Big Bug Creek Pot Bellied Stove.
The same author—Mark Lee Gardner— requested Bloody Bill, shared with me a photo he picked up last year in Missouri.
Knee Jerk Reaction
Besides the green boot tops (obviously hand colored, but still!) the hand on the knee gives me a, well, a knee-jerk reaction. It's obviously harmless, but one thing is clear: the past is a foreign country. They do things differently there.
