Sideways Rider

Went to yoga this morning (two for two in the new year). But, before I left, I whipped out a little study I call Sideways Rider:

Gave my daughter a Christmas present of stand-up comedy lessons (she lives in LA). She is very funny and I think she'll be inspired by some of the improvisational techniques. Kathy put Deena and I on the email list of the school and I got my first newsletter which is about how to emulate Jerry Seinfeld's technique. Amounts to putting a big, red X across every day you write comedy and the goal is to not miss an X. Kind of cool. May apply it to my art and Mickey Free.

At the same time, it's time I enjoy the path I'm on, as much as the goal of arriving. Ain't that right, Toni?
