My old Razz pard, Judy Darbyshire, gifted us this little, life-size owl to put in the mouth of Hoyo. Ain't this sweet?
Hoyo House Sitter
Hoyo is Spanish for "hole" and it was my old radio partner, Jeanne Sedello, who came up with the name. I also asked Judy Darbyshire to make the eyes reflective so that if someone is driving down the road to our house in the twilight they will get the glow of owl eyes.
And, of course, the one guy who I want to surprise with this is the same little guy who named our ranchito "Cactusland." That would be this guy.
