   I have some damn zany friends and this is one of them.

    Greg explains: "In 1991 the Apple Corps sold some Beatles merchandise including this classic cravat. Get back indeed Jo Jo. In 1969 I too first heard that song on the radio as I was driving a delivery truck for a carpet and flooring store in Tucson. It was damn good then and remains one of my favorites. Extra bonus points to Ringo for excellent drum work on this song. Again, Feliz Navidad."

Apple Sweet!

   My favorite irony story is when Apple, the future computer company, approached Apple, the Beatles' upstart company, and asked to use the name. The Beatles ultimately agreed to share the name, but on the condition that they never sell music. The computer guys agreed immediately. Why would we ever have any need to get into the music business? 

   Now, that's ironic.

   The Seattle crowd wanted to go to the cave yesterday, so we took off around two. As we made our way across the burned landscape I realized we haven't been over there since the fire. Deena got this shot of Uno and I cavassing the devastation.
