We came down to Tombstone for Doug Hocking's book festival in Schieffelin Hall yesterday. Had a great day, sold books and met a whole bunch of people who love history. This morning we woke up to this:
More than a little nippy out. The good news is we owned the streets this morning and there were no people out but us diehard Tombstone crazy-historians.
We have been having breakfast at the historic O.K. Cafe for the past two mornings and it is great. This is where I talked Bob McCubbin into going into partnership to buy True West magazine way back in 1999. All the locals eat here, and here is the town marshall, Jim, stopping by our table to say hi.
We're heading to Tucson this afternoon, road conditions considered and permitting.
