Wrangling together all of our material for a cover story on this guy.
And speaking of beloved headgear, as promised, here is my collection of Carl Marvin Bell's hats and caps in my studio:
The hat at upper left along the railing is the hat Carl has at his feet in this photo:
Meanwhile, back to Tom Mix Country, here is one of the last photos of Tom Mix, while he was on his cross country road trip in October of 1940.
You can see the infamous Cord "death car" behind them.
Meanwhile, on the 66 Kids front, I am working with Dan The Man on expanding a photo I have in my collection of the Flying A "Jugs Iced Free" billboard to make it into a doubletruck.

Great pictures of Tom Mix that I haven't seen before, looking forward to the story! Also, any chance of doing a story about Fred Harman & Red Ryder in the future? Fred Harman has so many connections to Walt Disney, Daisy BB Guns, Buck Jones, and the Cowboy Artists of America...that's damn near a full issue of content right there. Just a thought.

It kind of feels too complex and very vast for me. I'm taking a look ahead to your
subsequent put up, I'll attempt to get the hang of it!
