Got word from Scott Stone up on the Rim that Lutheran Pastor Guenther passed. He was 87. He was a treasure trove on Apache culture and history. He and his father before him had ministered to the White Mountain Apaches for close to a century. He knew more about their customs and ceremonies than many Apaches do.
