Had a long day in The Beast today. Left the house at eight and fought my way downtown, below the baseball arena—whatever the corporate name is now—Chase Field, whatever. Had a taping for an outlaw and lawman series in a warehouse smack dab in the middle of the Sky Harbor flight path. Jets going in at about 46 second intervals. Fought my way through, then drove up town to meet his guy for lunch at Barrio Cafe on 16th St. and Thomas. Hint: he is the Top Secret Writer's son.
