Ever since I read that profound quote from Marcel Duchamp I have been so tuned into how contradition is in everything, including this blog. Crazy. Seems so obvious to me now but it sure took me long enough to get here (hint: eight decades!).
Contradiction Junction
The voice in your head is not you. Really? Then why is it telling me right now that you are totally full of crap?
Forgiveness means giving up all hope for a better past. Really? Forgive me, but I rather enjoy beating myself up over things I can never change.
Religion is for people who fear hell. Spirituality is for people who have been there. Okay, I can't really be snotty about this one.
The desire to be loved is the last illusion. Let it go and you will be free. Really? Then who will I have to blame? I need someone to blame, dude.
Sheesh.
When we got back from San Diego last weekend, this was waiting for me.
