Did Wyatt Earp Get His Kicks On Route 66?

 January 8, 2026

Recapping from yesterday: we now know that Wyatt Earp prospected all over Mohave County and that he sought card games in Goldroad and Oatman, Arizona before he cashed out in 1929. Well, Route 66 was officially commisioned in 1926 and it originally went through Goldroad and Oatman, so yes, I think it's fair to say the obvious:

Yes, Wyatt Earp got his kicks on Route 66

That's Mister Coffee to You!

"I've never been any place in my life where there was absolutely no coffee—and someone constantly trying to give you coffee: 'Would you like some coffee?' 'Can I get you some coffee?'
"Coffee is one of the only things you can have that people continue to try and give it to you. Waitresses are always coming up to you, 'Can I fill it up?' 'Warm it up?' 'Can I top it off?'
"Then you pick up a manhole [he looks up, like he's in a manhole talking to someone on the surface] 'We just made a fresh pot. Would you like some?'
"This liquid has taken over humanity. There are coffee machines that you have to call 'Mister.'
   "'Coffee anyone?'
"'Hey! That's MISTER Coffee to you!'"
—Jerry Seinfeld

“I’ve been accused of vulgarity. I say that’s bullshit.”
—Mel Brooks
