Uno's Buffalo Play Group And Picasso vs BBB

 August 3, 2025

On our morning walks, Uno and I pass this big corral full of white buffalos and quite often the baby buffaloes want to say hi to Uno so they come ambling over to the fence as we are walking by. This morning, the mama came over to make sure there wasn't any monkey business going on.

Uno's Buffalo Play Group

Break A Leg, Literally!

Also note that the Buff dad can't be bothered back there. Oh, and these buffalo are not to be trifled with. The neighborhood gossip is one of the hired hands went into this corral to break up a fight between a camel and a buffalo, and the latter broke the hired hand's leg! I know what you're thinking: yeh, right, like you would have a corral with a white buffalo and a camel in it.  We're gonna need to see some visual proof on that ridiculous and absurd claim!

Uno Mystified by Strange Corralled Creature

Sometimes I am questioned by visitors about all the scattered Whip Outs laying around my studio. Why aren't they framed? Why haven't I sold them? Do I ever actually clean out here?

A Studio Full of Corralled Whip Outs

Not to compare myself (oh, who am I kidding? I am totally comparing myself), when Picasso died in 1973 his family found 45,000 unsold pieces of artwork in his studio. That number included 1,885 paintings, 1,228 sculptures, 7,089 drawings, 3,222 ceramics, 150 sketchbooks, a couple thousand prints and quite a few rugs. Now if you are like me you are asking yourself, What's with all the rugs?

Or, in my case, what's with all the hats?

Boze, definitely a surplus of sombreros. Notice that two in the picture are saluting the flag as is done in Mexico during the playing of the National Anthem. Probably all are saluting but it just doesn’t show.
