Mickey Free Sends A Message And Mrs. Wyatt Earp Gets Undressed Metaphorically

 October 3, 2025

It was a beautiful morning to take a walk up Old Stage Road.

First Light on Sugarloaf

Meanwhile. ..

Daily Revised Whip Out:

"Mickey Free's Window of Opportunity"

The Apache Kid and his latest girlfriend—Beauty— took off over the ridge from Window Rock. Mickey unlimbered his big 45-70 and sent a goodbye kiss which just missed them. "What the hell were you trying to do?" the Kid barked later. "I wanted you to know I could have bagged you both,” the Mickster smirked, his one eye twinkling.

Mrs. Wyatt Earp?

Dream on, Dude!
(Kaloma In Red)

This bogus 1915 pinup—known as "Kaloma"— was foisted on the public as Sadie Earp by an unscrupulous author with money-making motives (I realize that is redundant). The backstory is just as sordid. And we are covering this in the next issue of True West with a major takedown by Peter Brand.

"Hutton, tell me why I should have any respect for you whatsoever. That's the worst film I ever saw."

—David Zucker, confronting Paul Andrew Hutton after the Distinguished Professor took the director of "Airplane" to see "The Searchers"
