Big Ears Flashback
When I sent this blow-up photo of my eighth grade graduation to my kids, I told them Grandpa Ha Ha is the one with the big ears, but as my daughter duly noted, "Looks to me like quite a few of your Kingman compadres had 'big ears'." Ha. Now that I look closer, she is correct.

I have some history with several big-eared compadres in this historic photo. Two years after it was taken, Wendell Havatone, Charlie Waters and I formed a band called The Exits. So called because "that's where everybody will go when they hear us play," quipped Charlie Waters as we came out of Civics Class in the New Building.
And, here we are on New Year's Eve, 1964, in the Girl's Gym, which is maybe 25 yards from where the above photo was taken on the steps of the Old Building.
