My grandson, Fenton, asked me how Billy the Kid got that dent in the crown of his hat? So, I showed him and then he put the exact dent in the hat he is wearing in this photo of him executing his first illustration of William H. Bonney in my studio today. Note to self: ask for no other blessing.
