Working on a challenging image for a client. He has a restaurant named for a cowboy and one named for an Apache tribe so naturally he wants a cowboy and an Apache breaking bread over a campfire. Went home after lunch and did a couple campfire studies, like this one of campfire lighting with Black Mountain in the background:
Decent effects, but tried another one, a closeup to study the spreading heat and smoke:
Has some potential. Then shifted gears and tried one with the cowboy and the Apache clinking cups:
And then one of just the figures:
Need to put it all together this weekend in one solid composition. What to call it? Well, I know what NOT to call it:
