Great weekend at home. Worked almost non-stop on a piece for a local restauranteur. Had a decent sketch of the principal figures for a T-Shirt design:
Which I then turned around to face each other for the back of the T-Shirt:
Decided to see if I could work into the negative space of a study I had done earlier:
Tough to do, pulling characters out of the dark paint, but I think I got something going:
I call this "The Tonto Toast," as in Tonto Bar & Grill. Sent the piece down to Dan The Man Harshberger this morning so he can work his magic on the project. We're meeting with the owner on Wednesday.
Need to shift gears and work on a Classic Gunfight which took the life of lawman George Scarborough. Kind of an odd one. Never quite made sense. Thanks to Jeff Burton and his amazing book "The Deadliest Outlaws: The Ketchum Gang And the Wild Bunch" I think we'll make it track.
