Bass Reeves Galore

 March 7, 2024

Now that I trust you've seen the Taylor Sheridan series, it's time to ask, how much of that acclaimed show was true?

Daily Whip Out: "Bass Reeves Portrait #2"

Yes, we're back to Bass, Bigtime.

Daily Scratchboard Whip Outs:

"Bass Reeves Galore"

New stuff, old stuff, solid stuff. We're giving Bass another run, with this guy.

My Drummer Brother From Another Mother

Art T. Burton

“Bass walked into the valley of death for 32 years and never flinched. He feared nothing that walked, crawled or breathed on the face of the Earth. If you tried to run, he would catch you, if you tried to hide, he would find you, if you tried to have a gunfight with him, it was tantamount to committing suicide. Bass stood for truth, justice, and the law. As I see it, Bass is the greatest frontier hero in United States history!”

FYI, Fort Smith has a fantastic statue of Bass Reeves welcoming travelers coming over the bridge from Oklahoma.
