If you've ever wondered what it's like to run a magazine or how crazy my personal life is, be sure to read the behind-the-scenes peek at the daily trials and tribulations of running True West. Culled straight from my Franklin Daytimer, it contains actual journal entries, laid out raw and uncensored. Some of it is enlightening. Much of it is embarrassing, but all of it is painfully true. That's Mister Pai-sano to You, Senor
February 2, 2013
First full day at home in my studio for a long time. Amazing what one can accomplish without a job to go to. Ha.
Started ten studies, finished three, verdict out on another four. Titles, so far: "Flash Lightning Over Cave Creek," "Ranch Kitchen Light #4" and "#5", "Road to Bartlett", "That's Mister Pai-aso to You, Señor" and "The Cook Shack". Will post the worthies on Monday.
"A redneck told me to go back where I came from, so I put a teepee in his back yard."
