Went home for lunch and finished three snow studies for "Two-Page Westerns." Here's the first one:
Just a tad too Leanin' Tree (that's a legendary greeting card company) and not enough graphic novel. However, I do like the smoke from the adobe off in the valley (middle right).
This one (above) has some subtle aspects I rather like. For instance El Kid is almost hidden by the trees and I may run this as a long horizontal and bring the bottom and top way in.
This one had the coolest sky, but then I ruined it with a crappy rider. Very amateurish. Wish I had it back. It could have been a contender.
