Worked all day on El Kid snow scenes. Lots of hard work. Snow is everything but white. I have been studying (poaching) from Monet, Victor Higgins and Remington (who also did very nice snow effects in the last couple of years of his life). Lots of purple, Monet made snow with yellow!). A very delicate dance. I'll post some of the efforts on Monday.
Went up to the feed store at noon and got dog food and chicken feed ($50, includes $1 tip to the guy who loaded the bags in the truck).
Met up with Michelle and Jim Rizzi on Friday afternoon. They are in town from Salt Lake City. I worked with both of them at New Times Weekly and we were in a band together, called "The Weeklies." Great talking to them about the old days and all of our wild experiences in the seventies and eighties. Gee, I wonder what those old experiences are worth today?
