Big rain during the night. Heavy thunder and winds. I woke up at 2:30 doing my usual monthly fret-a-thon. Went out to the kitchen table to take stock of my efforts. Worried that I spend too much time on Email and the blog. Decided to tabulate just how much time I do spend. Also forced myself to write down a half-dozen things I'm doing right. If I don't do that, I can really get going on the pity potty and then I just get gridlocked. Went back to bed around four.
Got up at 6:30, took the dogs for a bike ride, took the garbage out to the end of the driveway, came back and checked Email (11 minutes, not as bad as I feared). Organized some "faces of anguish" art reference in studio. Need to get a handle on all my reference, it's scattered everywhere.
Last night I whipped out my six sketches incorporating a word I learned at Fort Apache. The word is Bi-Jashn and I'll give the translation later. Here's the sketches, including the day before:
Going into the Beast this afternoon. My mother and Lou are flying in from Cody at six and I'm picking them up at Sky Harbor. Also going by Bert Easly's to see about buying two severed heads (I'll explain later).
FYI: I spent ten minutes scanning the art and fifteen minutes writing today's blog.
