Banking On Winslow Homer

September 4, 2012

Had a very nice and quiet Labor Day weekend, painting in my studio most of the time. Went over to Grandma Betty's on Sunday for Brad's birthday. Had mole enchiladas from The Conkydonk (El Conquistador) and pulled pork made by Debbie. Sold the Ranger to Mercedes (she calls it "The Danger Ranger" because the dome light shorts out constantly and stays on at the most inopportune times).

Did about a half dozen paintings over the three days. Was inspired by a Wnslow Homer watercolor:

Had fun with this basic design and created my own version of it:

I call this, "So I Put That Behind Me"

"Time heals what reason cannot."
