Worked over the weekend on a couple projects. Finished two illustrations for new True West Moments that will run in the Arizona Republic. This is for a TWMoment on Will C. Barnes, an Arizona cowboy who insisted on Navajo County and also the spelling, with a "j" not an anglo "h":

Meanwhile, executed a big scratchboard of Lon Megargee smokin' up a "Cowboy's Dream":

Based on a photograph of Lon by Thomas Bate. Of course, this references, Lon Megargee's "Cowboy Dream" which hangs in my office even as I type this.
Meanwhile, also had time to do a couple wash studies. This is "Cowboy Controversy":
