Went out to the Wild West Festival at Pioneer at 10:30. Spoke in the Opera House at 11:30. Full house, good crowd and very responsive. Sold about 20 DVDs and ten books. Lots of comments about the magazine and True West Moments.
Last weekend when Deena's boyfriend came out to cook dinner for his parents and us, he was a tad nervous in our kitchen looking for utensils and stuff. He asked Deena if we had a cutting board and she said: "Let's see, do you want a square one, or one that's in the shape of my father's head?"
Frank was too nervous to get it, but Kathy and I laughed pretty hard. One of my fans created a cutting board in the shape of my head and we've had it in the kitchen ever since we moved to Cave Creek (21 years). So the kids grew up with this odd family momento. Here it is:
I've chopped many an onion on that board. Trying to shift gears and get back on the Top Secret Project. Hard to do with the festival, etc.
