Stealing From The Best And Looking Ahead to The Phippen Art Show

 July 9, 2022

We are running an eight-page photo essay on the Real Women of the Wild West in the September issue. Here is part of the intro, written by my co-writer, Jana Bommersbach:

"For your viewing pleasure, we present a photo essay of the strong, bold, sassy, bawdy, stubborn, bodacious and superior women of the Old West."

The whole piece is superior. Great images, fun bios, zany quotes. My favorite is: "Leave me alone and let me go to hell by my own route."

Now that is a great quote by this courageous cross dresser.

And, here is a couple of the color pieces framed by Guzal that will be in the Phippen Art Museum Show in November.

Also had time today to attack another scratchboard woman.

Daily Scratchboard Whip Out:

"Looking Ahead"

Went over to the neighbors to watch the new Doctor Strange. It was too strange for me.
