Quemado Riders & The Glory of Grey

March 3, 2018
Having fun in my studio today:

Daily Whip Out: "Quemado Riders"

They rode on across a burned landscape, grey with ash, as fires still flared behind them.

Daily Whip Out: "Anvil Cloud Riders"

Every time I read the paper, another Boomer, or two, has passed on. Makes me feel, well, like this guy:

Daily Whip Out: "The Old Man Totters On"

Also when I read the papers (I read three newspaper a day plus my damn phone, which sometimes makes me wonder how I have any time to get anything else done!) I can't help but think we are teetering on the edge of total disaster:

Daily Whip Out: "The Deluge Is Coming"

Daily Whip Out: "Grey Ghosts On The Move"

"Grey is a color that always seems on the eve of changing to some other color."
—G.K. Chesterson, "The Glory of Grey"
