Campfire Blow And Glow

April 3, 2020
If you've ever sat around a campfire you know the BS can fly. In fact, it's sort of encouraged. Perhaps, the tendency to stretch things while sitting around a fire dates back to our earliest days on the plains of Serengeti. Or, in my case, over a plate of spaghetti.

Daily Whip Out: "Campfire Bullshitter"

Whatever the reason, I want to celebrate all that campfire blow and glow in my next story, which will be a story within a story. And it all starts here:

"The Campfire Trial at Divisadero"

"I'm 84; my life is almost half over. At my age, I'm playing with house money. Not believing in a hereafter, I really can't see any practical difference if people remember me as a film director or a pedophile or at all. All that I ask is my ashes be scattered close to a pharmacy."
—Woody Allen, in his new book "Apropos of Nothing"
