Headin' out for the homeland this morning. Thanks to Ron Warnick, I have added another road trip tune to my travelin' music:
Popa Chubby's Electric Version of "Route 66"
Dang, that burns down the road, don't it? My only complaint is that the singer mangles "Kingman" just like so many other singers (Mick Jagger sings "Bixlow"). See you at the Powerhouse Museum this afternoon. And then out at the Diamond Bar on Saturday for the Duncan reunion.
Lillie Louise "Bobby" Guess out at the Diamond Bar Ranch, 1933
