I've lived long enough to see Sandy Beach at Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Mexico, go from zero buildings in the 1970s to high rises sprouting up on almost every single inch along the beachfront. Here's a new series of units going up next door to a resort called Las Palomas, as an old vendor, a dying breed, makes his way along the beach.

The view out our front door. Reading three Oatman massacre books and comparing. Too lazy to find a quote.
