Had fun this weekend, finishing up a bunch of half-finished paintings in my studio.
Daily Whip Out: "Blood On the Badge"
Daily Whip Out: "Virgil In Dust"
Daily Whip Out: "General Crook Narrows Eyes"
I also went down to Cattletrack Arts Compound on Saturday for the latest CD release of the Dusty Ramblers. While I was there I sold another painting to a guy who really wanted to buy this painting:
Daily Whip Out: "Kiowa Ghost Riders"
But alas, it was already sold. In fact, I could have sold this painting five times! He ended up buying this painting from the Wild Bill book:
Daily Whip Out: "Wild Bill Looks Back"
The buyer then asked me if I had any more paintings in my studio like the Kiowa painting. This morning, my curator, Kristi Jacobs, pulled a couple dozen paintings out of my morgue for him to look at.
