A Dry Lake Slide And Pricks On The Roof

   Okay, after much debate, we have made a decision on which cover illustration of Johnny Ringo to run on the September issue of True West magazine. I also give credit, where credit is due, for the decision making process and how the photo montage was created. Ended up very cool. You subscribers will see it real soon. As for the rest of you, tough luck.

   Got up this morning and wanted to do something loose as a goose. Grabbed a board and did this:

    I want to build a treehouse in our backyard for my grandkids and I finally got around to doing some sketches to show to an architect.

BBB Weston Tree House Proposal

   Now I need to take these sketches to the Cave Creek Planning And Zoning Department, Nut Job 2 Division. Not sure where I'll get all that lumber but I am confident we can pull it off.

   One of the things I love about old time Mexico photographs is that those fine folks knew how to spruce up a roof.
