Woke up to this scene, looking to the west.
A Hornytoad Morning
When we built our house, 36 years ago, we commissioned Chuck Weaver to do a series of humorous sculptures coming out of the walls. He did four, we still have three, and this is one of them, a grumpy hornytoad sticking out of the wall near the back gate.
Meanwhile, On The El Pendejo Front
Were they Rurales or Rangers? El Pendejo hid in the folds of the giant saguaro and waited to find out.

How did he get up there? Well, the crazy stranger with the crooked staff has mysterious ways and where he landed and how he got up there is a point of contention in the borderlands.
