Sam and I mailed out 52 Mickey Free postcards this morning. She offered a deal online and we got deluged with takers. I treated her to lunch at Saba's up in Carefree ($31 plus $6 tip, Sue account).
While we were at lunch I missed one of my favorite Western singers, Dennis Jay, who dropped off his latest CD "Primicia." When I opened it I did a double-take at the CD, which he has rigged out to look like an old fashioned 45 record. He calls it an EPCD. Ha.

The four songs are quite cool. Dennis is doing a pickup gig tonight in Gilbert at It's A Grind coffeehouse, then he's appearing at The Arizona Cowboy Symposium in Sonoita, Arizona over the weekend, then he's doing a one-nighter in Colorado on Veterans Day, actually at the Grange Hall in Louis, north of Cortez.
