Daily Whip Out: "Caprock Deluge."
Lots of storm clouds in our area but, so far, no rain to speak of. One of these days.
Like many people on Facebook, I get nervous when ads start following me around. But, my inrterest in good illustration obviously landed the Facebook fan page of Franklin Booth on my clipboard and, intrigued by the pen and ink drawing there, I clicked on it. Whoa! Dang this guy was good. The drama, the design, the murky, specially chosen values. Just brilliant work and I had never heard of him before today. In my defense, I've only been seeking out good illustration for the past 50 years.
